BRIG. HARSH BHATIA RESIDENCE, 193, Sector-2, Panchkula.

This project involves the ongoing vertical expansion of an existing residence, where two additional floors and a terrace level are being added to a ground-floor house for Brig. Harsh Bhatia. The design approach is guided by a careful understanding of the existing built structure, ensuring that the new construction requires no major structural changes. All interventions are being planned to align with the original load paths and spatial framework of the ground floor, allowing the expansion to progress efficiently while respecting the integrity of the existing house. The proposed upper floors introduce a contemporary architectural language that remains visually cohesive with the original building. A key design feature is the green screen façade along the south-west elevation, which is being incorporated to counter harsh solar heat gain and enhance indoor thermal comfort. This green layer will also act as a living wall, improving privacy, softening the elevation, and reinforcing the project’s climate-responsive and sustainable intent.

KHUSHPREET RESIDENCE , Pinjore, Haryana

This ongoing residential project involves the vertical and spatial transformation of an existing ground-floor house to accommodate the evolving needs of a multigenerational family.

A new first floor is added to create an independent living unit for the son, while the ground floor is retained exclusively for the parents, ensuring privacy, comfort, and long-term usability for both generations. Beyond the built form, the project focuses heavily on stitching the house and its surrounding open spaces into a cohesive social environment.

Landscaped outdoor areas are designed for gatherings and parties, featuring in-situ seating, an outdoor kitchen, and an elevated bamboo seating zone at the rear. A functional cow shed is integrated discreetly at the back of the plot. Along the front boundary, existing shops are converted into a casual gathering and meeting space, complemented by an additional guest bedroom, transforming the frontage into an active social interface
