Conceived as an elevated executive retreat, this project transforms the roof of an existing three-storey office building into a sophisticated terrace lounge. The brief required a multifunctional space for important meetings as well as informal interactions that was achieved through a careful balance of enclosure and openness. Structural limitations of the rooftop were addressed through lightweight prefabricated construction and precise detailing to ensure minimal load and seamless integration with the existing structure.

The design emphasizes fluid indoor–outdoor transitions, enhanced by skylights that introduce controlled natural light into the lounge and dining areas. A curated palette of creepers, vines, and soft landscape elements threads through the architecture, softening the built form and creating a calm, green edge above the city.

The result is a sophisticated, high-performance terrace that elevates workplace experience through clarity of planning, material efficiency, and a restrained yet elegant architectural expression.
