The Golf Driving Range at Chandimandir Army Cantonment, developed for SEPTA (Services Environmental & Professional Training Association), was executed as a turnkey architectural and engineering project aimed at creating a functional and aesthetically integrated sports facility within the cantonment landscape. The project involved the complete scope of work including site planning, architectural design, structural engineering, fabrication, construction, and final commissioning of the driving range. The design focuses on a linear arrangement of multiple practice bays aligned along the edge of the open driving field, allowing clear sightlines and uninterrupted ball trajectories.

A lightweight yet durable steel structural framework supports a gently curved canopy roof that provides protection from sun and rain while maintaining visual openness and natural ventilation. Individual hitting stations are organized with artificial turf mats and steel divider rails to ensure safety, spatial clarity, and efficient circulation between users. The flooring and bay layout are designed to provide stable standing surfaces and comfortable movement throughout the facility.

The surrounding landscape and open turf area function as the ball landing zone, creating a seamless relationship between the built structure and the natural environment. The completed project delivers a well-organized and architecturally cohesive training facility that supports recreational sports while maintaining the disciplined spatial character of the cantonment.
