This project reimagines a 40-year-old farm dwelling located in an erstwhile rural setting now shaped by rapid urbanisation. Rather than replacing the existing structure, the design embraces restoration and adaptive reuse, guided by principles of sustainability, climate sensitivity, and minimal intervention.

A new architectural vocabulary was developed while retaining the soul and cultural memory of the original building, with carefully considered additions that strengthen its existing language. The use of earthy materials and passive design strategies ensures a responsive, climate-conscious environment rooted in its context.

Inspired by the timeless elegance of a Punjabi haveli, the farmhouse is reinterpreted with modern sophistication and contemporary amenities, preparing it for its new role as a farmstay that balances heritage, comfort, and sustainability.
